This past Easter was a little different from back home but turned out to be a lot of fun! My friends had the idea to draw names and get a basket for one another, and so we did exactly that. We walked all the way to temple just to exchange baskets but it turned out to be a really cute place to take pictures, so I’m not complaining anymore. But you can bet I was complaining the whole way there, walking in wedges (ha! not even heels), and when we had to jump the fence because we went to the wrong entrance. Don’t worry, we didn’t trespass, only jumped a fence onto open property. It turned out to be quite the day. We hung out at the temple for a little bit, and then headed back to the hale to make Easter dinner for the four of us, chicken and green bean casserole. While it took over an hour to make the green bean casserole in the crappy hale oven, dinner turned out great and was very homey. Easter turned out to be the perfect little day for all of us!
